Music has always been a big part of Judy’s life, mainly due to the inspiration of her father who has an eclectic mix of vinyl from the blues, jazz, rock and roll and blue beat.
Judy is a singer-song writer who has performed at festivals and venues across the UK (Upton Blues Festival, Nantwich, Birmingham and Newcastle Under Lyme Jazz and Blues Festival.
Judy is looking forward to presenting her new band. She is the real deal who sings straight from the heart. Her influences include Koko Taylor, BB King, Keb Mo and Jo Bonamassa. This exciting blues project brings out the best of the old blues, gospel and rock straight from the soul!
Judy is now writing original songs and is working on her blues project ‘The Judy Blu Band’ and her acoustic project ‘Blue Silk’ which explores ‘stripped back’ jazz and blues.
